Ruminating in the Contiguous Shade depicts some cattle resting under a shade tree. I saw the scene along a county road outside of Coshocton Ohio.  It was a hot summer day and everything was sweltering, including myself.  I slammed on the brakes and jumped out of the car to snap the photo I used for reference. My wife wishes I paid more attention to the road than what is off to the side.
