One of the first flowers to bloom in the spring is the daffodil. The colors are always so incredibly intense, the yellows and greens are colors seen only in the early spring. I was challenged to make ordinary oil paint vibrate as only a yellow daffodil can.
Each spring my town of Granville has a Daffodil Show produced by the local garden club. It is a wonderful event! The daffodil is synonymous with Granville, hence the name Granvilles Favorite Sun!
